It’s worth mentioning that this anonymous owner is a huge fan of his ZR2, which he bought specifically to daily drive and to take off-road. He raved endlessly about it on the phone with me, saying: “I love my truck… everything about it is awesome except for the stupid airbag deployment thing.”
To reduce space claim and installation time, the normal auxiliaries for azimuth thrusters — hydraulic power pack, gravity tank, filters, coolers and clutch hydraulics, etc. — have all been integrated onto the azimuth unit itself.
1. Clutch. The clutch is weak. Get rid of the judder spring and small plate.2. Radiators. It overheats and boils water like a teapot as dirt gets stuck in the radiator guards.3. Exhaust. Can’t complain about the horsepower, but we don’t give any of the credit to the twice pipes. We also don’t like how far the head pipe sticks out. Some riders hit it when they put their leg out.4. Handling. It likes to turn but is very busy between corners.5. Weight. 238 pounds is exactly 15 pounds too much.6. Sound. On the 2-meter-max sound test, it blew 117.5 dB. That’s loud, but it passed the 94 dB Amateur sound test.7. Setup. We never had as much trouble getting a chassis to work in conjunction with the engine and suspension. This is a very sensitive bike.8. Forks. The fork aren’t as soft as the KX450 forks, yet they don’t have good bottoming resistance. Nobody likes to feel that harsh bottoming sensation.
A modern truck is much more than a towing and hauling appliance; itâs a mobile office, a family wagon, and a sanctum of retreat for commuters. Chevrolet has consequently made every kind of driver convenience and assistance feature available on the Silverado. You can get a head-up display, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot and lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, a haptic safety alert driverâs seat, and all the good stuff you expect to find in a modern vehicle.
Yes if we had significantly better mass transit. Those who prefer not to drive (typically those less skilled) would likely use mass transit and there would be less traffic on the road. However, in my city (Phoenix), we do not have large scale mass transit and likely will never have it. Therefore I deal with the current situation. In my uninformed and humble opinion, the drivers licensing procedures here are logical and adequate. I prefer to allow drivers to make their own decisions about when to drive and how to drive. They can reap the benefits and consequences of their decisions.
(1) Yamaha YZ450F. Yamaha’s Kayaba SSS suspension, front and rear, is the best setup of 2019. It has been the best since 2006. For 2019, Yamaha added a stiffer shim stack to allow the forks to stay higher in their stroke, especially under heavy braking, yet feel plush. They are devoid of harshness. These are the perfect coil spring forks.
In addition, the base warranty for marine engines from 19 to 60 L in a heavy-duty or medium continuous-duty rating has been extended 1000 hours beyond the previous term, while intermittent-duty coverage for the same engine range has extended 1500 additional hours. Cummins continues to offer optional Encompass coverage, which can provide an additional three years/10,000 hours of coverage to the engine.
Quite simply, statistics prove that some safety features improve the survival rate of those involved in collisions.
Steering is a pretty big deal. Wonder if software update is the answer or the coverup? Hard to say with GM. It took at least 2 tries to get everyone’s ignition spring done to be sure it was correct. And don’t forget they actually sent notices to people who had already been killed by it to come in and get it fixed. Not that either should happen but ill take a seatbelt that might spark a little in an accident over intermittent steering.
And though I’d like to have seen more transfer case fluid and trans changes than what I see in the records, the gearbox fluid was checked a number of times during, as shown in this 1996 receipt:
