According to Your Mechanic, a bad suspension can cause broken struts, flat tires, broken or collapsed springs, broken steering linkage, broken anti-sway bars, failed power steering and can affect handling and braking. On the Chevy pickup trucks, the front upper control arms near the arm bushings were poorly welded together and could break apart. According to Trucks, 4,789 vehicles were involved in the recall. Other vehicles also include the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade ESV and the Cadillac Escalade.
